Rules Regarding Personal Property

The Oakbend Estates HOA has voted not to have additional rules and regulations regarding personal property as it was determined that the City of Coppell had sufficient ordinances in place to ensure the aesthetics of the neighborhood. See the attachments and links to City of Coppell codes. If you do see a violation of these items call the Code Enforcement Department at 972-304-7059, Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

One of the primary code violations in the Oakbend Estates is overhanging Trees and Shrubs. This includes trees between the sidewalk and street in front of your home as well as the alley behind your home. Coppell regulations require clearances of 14 Feet over Roads and Alleys and 7 Feet over Sidewalks. Please be sure to stay in compliance. This helps keep our neighborhood safe and beautiful.

While the HOA does not have specific enforceable rules we do ask our friends and neighbors to the following common courtesies:

  • Adhere to the posted speed limits 25 MPH
  • Limit street parking
  • Pick up after your pet
  • Don't use newspaper as window coverings
